@simplex_fx hey, my upcoming game is a roguelike deckbuilder, but at least, it's not pixelated 😅

(have to say I LOVE pixel art games though)
What I really like about @jetbrains IDEs is the ability to specify different colors for class instance fields, function parameters, and local variables. It seems this is not popular, as default themes don’t have such a distinction, but once you get used to it, it's so convenient!
@cyangmou the article is top-notch, thank you for posting it! it is curious that Stardew Valley is *mostly* pixel consistent, with some slight deviations from your definition(scale-related item animations, thin line for fishing rod cord, etc.) and looks like there are no complaints on those
@_kosovsky@cyangmou Thank you for the info! And for pixel sprites - do you have them always aligned to the pixel grid or do you allow smooth ‘sub-pixel’ movement?
@FlohOfWoe @kinjalkishor@awr_hey Do I understand you correctly that instead of having an array of base class pointers which point to objects of different sub-classes, use an array of some base type objects that have 'components' depending on their 'differences'?
@luciascarlet Well, on the standard dpi screens macOS fonts look like a blurry mess, Windows ones are the sharpest on the other hand. Linux is on par with Windows mostly, but once you set is scaling to 125% on KDE - text rendering quality degrades a lot.
