You mentioned my initial response, which was a direct reply to “contrary to bible teachings” at which point you had not clarified what you had meant. I am assuming you are 15 years old or English is not your first language. Either way, I respect that you have the mental patience to speak in a civil manner, and I appreciate the attempts at a back in forth. If “hating the sin” is the stance you are taking, I hope you know what sin is, and hate all sin equal. I will pray for you.
@L_L1001_TriStar@Apollo_3H@SStricklandMMA And how would you warn them as a brother? Call them vile names? Treat them with disgust? So much hatred. My argument is not that sinners do not need guidance, it is that hate will never help lead them.
@GCarroll383504@SStricklandMMA How you could see a message of love and think of peversion is saddening. I hope one day you can let light back into your soul. You are never too lost for God to find you again. I will pray for you this evening.
I’m not "equivocating" anything, but you're definitely conflating some of your vocabulary. My initial response was regarding the statement "contrary to bible teachings" which is extremely vague and lacks substance. However, I will also gladly criticize Christians who fail to love their fellow humans, but since I don't know you, I won't assume that applies to you.
He did. However, you're not Jesus. It is not your job to call upon the sinner to sin, but to love your neighbor unconditionally. The bible says nothing of trans people. It is not your place to tell them what to do or how to live. It is your job to love them as if they were family. How He decides to guide them is up to Him.
@Apollo_3H@SStricklandMMA The bible teaches you not to support your fellow mankind? That sinners should not be treated with love? Too many Christians have been consumed with hate so strong that they know nothing else
We can’t just pretend ilia isn’t the same at 155 after he knocked Charles out cold in round 1, I think he just completely overlooked Justin and had a horrible performance
Interesting. I would have a hard time lining 39 year old Justin at chalk odds against a prime Ilia. I believe Ilia would be less reckless in a rematch, and would do a better job picking his shots and his entries, avoiding that jab. It feels like the type of rematch where Ilia learns more from their first fight than Justin will. Ilia now KNOWS the power Justin possesses and has felt the rhythm of the striking. Hoping it gets booked, would love to see those two dog it out again
@BoxinMMAHistory@BetOnGio@FightOdds_io It’s the beauty of the sport we love. Anything can happen. But just because something does happen doesn’t mean that it’s the expectation. After watching that play out last night, how would you line the rematch?
I mean… did you watch the fight? Justin won because he was able to endure the early onslaught. Any other opponent Topuria has faced would have fallen to those body shots, and it was a lapse of judgement to grapple when he could have finished the job. By no means am I taking away from how impressive Justin’s performance was, I just don’t think he would be able to replicate it 🤷♂️
