Even though the Games of the Future are not taking place in russia this year, war criminal russian president vladimir putin still recorded a video message for the tournament's participants.

This fact once again highlights that this tournament series, founded in russia, is not aimed at developing new sports. Its all about normalizing russia's reputation on the international stage. Terrorist state created and funds these competitions so russians cannot be disqualified or forced to compete under a neutral status. russia spends insane amounts of money to lure sports and esports stars for whom paycheck is more valuable than morals. And unfortunately, many agree to turn a blind eye to the daily crimes russia commits against Ukrainians and take part of this horrific propaganda show.

I am addressing the clubs that I am shocked to see on the list of participants for this event. Perhaps I missed someone — tag them too! @TeamVitality @T1 @1mongolz @FUTesportsgg

Does taking part here truly align with your values? Is participating in an event organized by ruthless, cold-blooded murderers just to sportswash their reputation really worth it? How will you look into the eyes of the Ukrainians who play for your teams or cheer for you? I'm once again dissapointed...

Another Astana event, another disgusting PGL action...

This time @pglesports decided to collaborate with Games of the Future...

For those who forgot or wasnt aware:

Games of the Future is a russian government-organized event created to whitewash russia using esports. In 2024 this event was held in the russian city of Kazan and war criminal putin personally attended this event and gave a speech during the opening ceremony. Such a shame PGL thinks it's okay to collaborate with the russian government. Dissapointed 🤢 @ssilviu

In 2025 GoF held an event in the UAE, and in 2026 they're coming to Astana. They spread the geography, but they don't change their main goal. Created and organized by russians, those tournaments are doing an amazing job in whitewashing their terrorist state. Russian athletes are represented here without any limitations: they're able to participate here under their flag and other national symbols. They created an alternative Olympics where russians don't have to be "neutral". This is inhuman.

Dear @pglesports you don't have to make your hands dirty by collabing with russian government project. Please react!
