Today, media is not only a space for sharing information — it is also a key arena for manipulation, disinformation and digital pressure.
As part of the “Young Ambassadors for Digital Safety” project, supported by the NGO State Support Agency and organized by the World Azerbaijani Youth Union (WAY), I spoke with young people about “The Anatomy of Digital Pressure: Media, Manipulation and Protection.”

We focused on real cases: media manipulation, fact-checking, digital footprints, personal data protection and practical ways to stay safe in today’s information environment.

Digital safety is not only about technology. It is about knowing how to question, verify and understand information.

В её архитектуре заложены детали, которые напрямую связаны с историей Победы: форма здания, высота и расположение минаретов — здесь практически ничего не случайно.

#Муровдаг веками был естественным барьером на пути в Кельбаджар. Сегодня инженерное решение фактически убирает этот барьер с маршрута.

The grave monument of Hasan Jalal Allahverdibekov, a descendant of Hasan Jalal Dawla.

Until the beginning of the 20th century, members of this lineage continued to bear the name of their illustrious ancestor — Hasan Jalal Dawla, the Albanian ruler and founder of the Gandzasar Monastery — passing it down through generations.

This monument stands as a tangible testament to centuries of historical continuity and ancestral memory.

Together with the diplomatic corps, we visited the Ganjasar and Khudavang churches — an integral part of the ancient Albanian Christian heritage.

Ganjasar was established in the 13th century by Hasan-Jalal Dawla, the Caucasian Albanian ruler, and stands as an important testament to the centuries-old Christian heritage of Caucasian Albania.

During the years of occupation, these monuments were subjected to external interventions under the guise of makeshift “restoration,” compromising their architectural authenticity and original character.

Every historical, cultural and religious monument on the territory of Azerbaijan, irrespective of its origin or religious affiliation, forms an integral part of our country’s rich cultural heritage. The Azerbaijani state is committed to their protection, preservation and restoration.

Azerbaijan’s experience in safeguarding its multicultural and multireligious heritage has earned international recognition. We stand ready to share this experience with other countries, including our neighbors.

We also invite media outlets engaged in spreading fake news and misleading narratives on this issue to visit these sites and see the reality on the ground for themselves.
