The Virginia Department of Fire Programs (VDFP) enhances public safety by providing Virginia's fire fighters and fire marshals vital resources and tools.
The Virginia Fallen Firefighters & EMS Memorial Service will take place on Saturday, June 6 at 12 p.m. All participating honor guard are requested to report to the Richmond Raceway Main Exhibition Hall at 8 a.m. There will be a meeting at 8:30 a.m.

Kibler said, "We brought out some newer rope winch technology to help haul firefighting gear aboard the vessel more efficiently while reducing the manpower needed for the operation."

Students received hands-on experience learning vessel identification, operational capabilities, deployment procedures, safety systems, communications, propulsion systems, and on-water maneuvering.
