I have this theory.
Ange was cowardly hacked by the board citing the poor prem results - despite them being cognizant of the injuries, the lack of squad depth to compete on multiple fronts, and knowing full well the conscious decision to bin the league for the 🏆
And here's why - Upon winning the Europa and the parade that followed, Ange had the dressing room, players who ready to kill on his command and a majority of fans united and singing his name.
Ange had become something that the board feared by becoming all too powerful at the club. And that meant they'd have had to invest accordingly in the squad to fulfill the plans and ambitions of season 3 - something they were never prepared to do.

Yet the Turkish Cypriots are still punished today with their isolation. Meanwhile Greek Cypriots enjoy EU membership.
