With the increasing prevalence of student stress and burnout, it is crucial to establish learning environments that are supportive, engaging, and connected. Therefore, these spaces foster a sense of being more supported and less overwhelmed among students.

With so much information online, it’s important to verify sources before trusting them. Using strategies like fact-checking and comparing sources helps ensure information is credible.

It can be difficult to tell which information online is actually credible. This guide explains how to evaluate websites and identify trustworthy sources when doing research.

Research tip for my problem (figuring out what online info is credible): this lesson explains lateral reading, checking what trusted sources say about a website before trusting it. https://t.co/U44Aq0Xufk #EM203Research
After the first 3 weeks of #EM203Robin, the course helped me understand how closely our learning is connected to media. The course helped me explore the 4Cs and how collaborative online tools enhance learning for all participants. I wonder how we continue to adapt our learning.
@CarCHeadrest@RobinPersadWL@TheAtlantic Same! It’s cool when class concepts show up in real life. “Is Google Making Us Stupid?” made me think a lot about attention, memory, and how our brains adapt to the media we use every day.
@EM203ADouglas Totally! With phones, social media, and online communities, learning happens everywhere now — not just in class. It makes me think learners today need strong digital literacy skills too.
@EM203NGiorgio I agree — cognitivism really emphasizes how learners build on prior knowledge. What’s one strategy you think helps people connect new info to what they already know (like examples, visuals, or chunking)?
@Em203RefaatG Yes Refaat. The 4Cs make online learning feel less like “just using tech” and more like building skills that transfer everywhere. I wonder if adapting our learning means being more intentional about how we use media, not just using more of it.
@EM203jaboufakhr Same here! It made me think about how we design learning activities: clear goals, quick feedback, and consistent reinforcement. I’m curious how we’ll compare this with cognitive or constructivist theories next.
EME203 is already one of the most unique courses I’ve taken. Using social media as part of the class is something I’ve never done in school before, and it makes the learning feel so different (in a good way). Can’t wait for the rest of the semester.
