+ might've only seen it for the last time twenty years ago. There were pictures of a little kid, maybe 6, who's supposed to be me. He's not alone, every frame of these pictures always has two boys in it, while the older one might be that man.
The kid was painting some random +
+ animals that I recognize as ducks, and a drawing of a married couple that seemed like the older brother and the kid with suits and a gown, while the older boy was holding on to that painting with a straight face. There were pictures of the older boy staring at the kid, some +
+ of them are full of joy, some other pictures are full of tears when the kid fell, or when the boy got some scratches on his elbows after saving the kid, well, it's always the kid with tears, and the older boy was trying to stop that crying. Lucky little kid, I'd say. +
@impaseuto seems eager to tell him off. They appear to be in a small argument prior to this. โI told you heโs fine. Why do none of you believe me?โ
The doctor is seemingly in loss of words, and turns his gaze towards the man on the bed, โCould you confirm your relationship with this man?โ
The hospital is bustling. Wooshin couldโve taken him into a nicer, more quiet one, but emergency called. He's outside of the room talking to the doctor, his voice might be heard faintly from inside.
A nurse peeks her head to see into @impaseutoโs room to check his situation.
@impaseuto Realizing the man had woken up, the nurse immediately returns behind the door to inform the doctor, who then finally enters the room along with Wooshin behind him.
โAre you feeling okay, Sir? Any dizziness or pain somewhere?โ The doctor asks. Wooshin, on the other hand,
As he hurriedly got up on his feet and approached the man, a thought struck him: ๐๐ฉ๐ข๐ต ๐ฏ๐ข๐ฎ๐ฆ ๐ฎ๐ถ๐ด๐ต ๐ฉ๐ฆ ๐ค๐ข๐ญ๐ญ ๐ฉ๐ช๐ฎ? The shallowness of their relationship finally caught up to Wooshin in the worst timing possible. โDonโt fucking joke aroundโ,โ he holds the man in his
@impaseuto โ... Sure did. I was on my way there, so I dropped by here to see how awful you're doing.โ This time, heโs the one avoiding the manโs gaze to idly deal with the dried up cotton ball.
โItโs not as if you're an Olympic athlete competing worldwide, why so insistent on doing this?โ
@impaseuto Thatโs a hard one. Not a hard question, but hard to answer in a way that he doesnโt face his own feeling and get into that strange vulnerable state.
โBecause thereโs a good kalguksu stall near here. Your place just happens to be close to it.โ
@impaseuto Noticing him avoiding his eyes, Wooshin presses the cotton ball just a tad stronger against the bruise. Not that heโs going to pry for more explanation, though.
โThen stop doing it. Itโs not worth it.โ
@impaseuto The jest was amicably accepted. Wooshin scoffs at his assumption. โAs if,โ he says. โNobody other actually cares about Hajun like that.โ His ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ญ๐ฐ๐บ๐ฆ๐ณ is dying anyways.
โI was simply curious, itโs personal.โ
@impaseuto He couldnโtโ no, he ๐ฅ๐ฐ๐ฆ๐ด๐ฏ'๐ต answer to that. The hand gets to work again, gentle and careful work. The bruise is fresher than he thought, so he puts in even more caution than before. Not that he lets it show, though.
โYou do this for the money?โ
@impaseuto โYou plan to make me waste my time coming here after a busy day at work, just to wait and watch you do it by yourself?โ A brow rose. โStay still.โ
