Israel has a program called "Where's Daddy?" where they wait until a "suspected militant" goes home first, so that when they drop the bomb, they murder his entire family with him. If Hamas followed IDF soldiers home so they could incinerate their family along with them, we would call them the worst terrorists in the world. And rightfully so, because that's burning their children and entire family alive. So, what should we call the IDF?

Situation at al-Shifa hospital is worse than what most people are capable of imagining... there are patients who have severe wounds that are infected, teenagers who are amputees with maggots crawling around in their open flesh... no food, water, and increasingly limited medical personnel (if any are available at all).

I've seen images that I'll never be able to remove from my mind. Had direct verbal reports that keep replaying in my mind.

People are being slaughtered by the Israeli military. They are being forced to stay in crowded rooms and buildings. It is a literal hell that we can scarcely comprehend.

This is an entirely man-made reality and it is compounded by the fact that its likely, as usual, that nobody will face justice for inflicting these horrors upon the Palestinians at al-Shifa hospital and throughout the rest of Gaza.

Where is our humanity? Where are our so-called leaders? All of this could be stopped if the international community actually did something.

Activists around the world are right to be furious. We are right to call out and hold our elected politicians accountable. There is nothing that justifies the callous cruelty and sheer inhumanity on display in Gaza.

The world must take action to save these people NOW!
