More than 100 people, including dozens of children, have fallen ill in a salmonella outbreak linked to chicken-flavoured instant noodles and possibly processed chicken products, according to European health authorities.
The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) and the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) said 106 confirmed cases of Salmonella Stanley had been reported across 14 countries, including the UK, as of June 27.
Nearly 50 people have been hospitalized, with children under the age of 10 accounting for almost two-thirds of the reported cases.
Investigators identified chicken-flavoured and hot chicken-flavoured instant noodle products from the same brand as the most likely source of the outbreak after detecting the outbreak strain in products tested in Germany and Lithuania.
However, officials said processed chicken products, including chicken nuggets, are also being investigated, as some infected patients did not report consuming instant noodles.
Several countries have recalled potentially contaminated products while investigations continue to determine the exact source of the contamination.
Health authorities have also warned consumers not to eat instant noodles without properly preparing them, noting that some patients reported consuming the products raw.
The outbreak has affected Austria, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, France, Germany, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Sweden and the UK. Investigations remain ongoing. (Newswire)
Completing a single criminal case in Sri Lanka takes an average of 10 years and 2 months, Supreme Court Justice Yasantha Kodagoda revealed, highlighting the severe delays in the justice system. With 1.1 million cases pending across just 333 courts, including magistrate, district, High Courts, and appellate divisions, each court is burdened with over 3,300 cases. Justice Kodagoda explained that even a burglary reported today would see its first phase conclude only in August 2036.

Three friends wanted a shared weekend retreat on seven acres in Hyderabad. Their architects tilted the entire plan 45 degrees so that no two rooms share the same view of the land, then organised everything around a 60 by 30 foot central courtyard the way traditional Indian houses have always been organised, with the landscape at the centre and the building wrapping around it.
Prakruthi Farms. Shamshabad, Hyderabad, India. Spacetime Creative. 4,600 sq ft. 2022.
Tandur tiles from Telangana. Athangudi tiles from Tamil Nadu. Mangalore tiles for the roofs. Every material sourced by region, chosen because it belongs to the climate it is sitting in. Each bedroom opens onto its own private courtyard. The dining room looks directly into the central garden through full height glass and the garden looks back.
This is a house designed around its occupants and not around what houses are supposed to look like. Africa builds for appearance. This is what it looks like when you build for life instead.

That Sarasvati dried up 5000 years ago - in 3000 BCE - is an often repeated falsehood by 3200-3000 BCE Kurukṣetra War daters.
🔥🔥🔥🔥
This lie is important for them to establish the falsehood that Kurukṣetra War occurred in 3200-3000 BCE.
Why?
Because Balarama saw a partially dried up Sarasvati during the Kurukṣetra War period.
In reality, Sarasvati dried up partially in 2000-1500 BCE.
Balarama witnessed it in 1793 BCE which is the date of Kurukṣetra War.
Rgveda in 3300-3000 BCE saw the Sarasvati as a mighty river flowing from the mountains to the ocean. This was the Early Rgvedic Period.
In Late Rgvedic 10th Maṇḍala, the Rgvedic poets praised Sindhu more than Sarasvati in Nadi Suktha indicating the decline of Sarasvati. 10th Maṇḍala is dated to 2200-1900 BCE. Sindhu gets an entire Suktha of reference in the 10th Maṇḍala of Nadi Suktha with Sarasvati gets only one word in it
Why is it so?
Both Sutlej & Yamuna supplied water to Sarasvati until 3000 BCE.
Between 5000-3000 BCE, Sutlej increased supplying water to Sindhu and reduced water supply to Sarasvati. That much is true.
Between 3000-2000 BCE, Yamuna increased water supply to Ganga and reduced water supply to Sarasvati. This is also true.
Due to this, Sindhu & Ganga grew into bigger rivers by 3000-2000 BCE while Sarasvati declined and thinned by 2000 BCE.
The global dryness period of 2200 BCE further reduced monsoon rains and denied water to Sarasvati. Hence Sarasvati declined rapidly in 2200-1900 BCE.
Due to this, the kings shifted their kingdoms along Sarasvati to Sindhu and Ganga.
Both Ramayana and Mahabharata are centered on Sindhu & Ganga and mentions absolutely no kingdom along Sarasvati!
Instead only forests like Dvaita, Kāmyaka and Vishakhayupa; abandoned battle plain Kurukṣetra and abandoned bushland Kurujāṅgala are along Sarasvati.
In contrast, almost all dominant kings mentioned in Rgveda like Devavata, Srñjaya, Pratarddana, Sudās, Sahadeva and Somaka were on Sarasvati.
The health of Sarasvati during 3300-1900 BCE is evidenced by the existence of Early & Mature Harappan phases of Sarasvati Sindhu Civilization in 3300-1900 BCE.
Sarasvati was the lifeline and the major river of this civilisation. Around 65% to 75% of settlements of Sarasvati Sindhu Civilization were located along Sarasvati in 3300-1900 BCE.
That is the biggest proof for Sarasvati's health during 3300-1900 BCE.
When Sarasvati declined and dried up in its southern half in 2200-1900 BCE, the prosperous Mature Harappan phase ended and the Late Harappan phase started. Then, we can see new settlements like Alamgirpur developing eastwards beyond Yamuna and towards Ganga.
The amount of positive buzz the original 10 buses generated locally was honestly surprising.

How did the Iksvakus reach Sarayu from Sarasvati?🔥
The Iksvakus originally lived along the Sarasvati (Sarsuti - Ghagghar - Hakra - Nara) River. They got divided into two branches. One eastern branch reached the Gomati and Sarayu Rivers in Uttar Pradesh. Before them, another western branch reached the Gomati and Sarayu Rivers in Pakistan!
The Eastern Ikshvaku migration began with King Sagara, whose capital lay along the Sarasvati, which was the original Ancestral Sarayu of the Iksvakus. Then both Sarayu and Gomati served as synonyms of Sarasvati. Sagara's "Ayodhya" was located along the southern course of Sarasvati (Ancestral Sarayu).
During his reign, increasing aridity in the southern course of the Sarasvati led to the death of 60,000 of his subjects.
Sagara once banished his son Asamanja for his crimes, such as throwing the children of citizens into the Ancestral Sarayu, that is Sarasvati.
Asamanja's son, Amshumat, succeeded him. Amshumat moved eastward and settled along the Yamuna. Due to this, it came to be known as Amshumati.
His son Dilipa attempted to shift the kingdom further east towards the Ganga but died before accomplishing this.
,
Dilipa's son Bhagiratha successfully settled along the Ganga. Hence, Ganga acquired the name Bhagirathi.
Bhagiratha's son Kakutstha moved towards a Ganga tributary, which he named Gomati, where his son Raghu ruled.
Raghu or Raghu's descendants, Aja, Dasaratha, and Rama, finally migrated to the Sarayu and established Ayodhya.
This sequence summarises the eastward migration of the eastern Ikshvakus from the Sarasvati to the Sarayu.
A thousand years earlier, another branch of Iksvakus had already moved from Sarasvati to two tributaries of Sindhu, which they similarly named as Gomati (Gomal) and Sarayu (Haro). This is why the Sarayu mentioned inside the 4th Mandala of the Rigveda is the Haro River, an eastern tributary of the Sindhu. This is where the Iksvaku kings of the Rigveda, like Purukutsa and Trasadasyu, lived. The Rigveda called them Trikshis. An ancestor of the Pandavas, named Samvarana, married a Trikshi (Western Iksvaku) princess named Tapati Vaivasvati. From that union emerged the Kurus.
This Samvarana is identical to the Rigvedic Puru who fought with the Panchala ancestor king Sudas of Tritsu-Bharata lineage in the Dasarajna Battle, along with the Anava king Kavi Cayamana.
The territory of Sagara is identified as lying south of Kurukshetra and corresponds archaeologically to the region associated with the Hakra Ware Culture. Following the abandonment of this region by the Ikshvakus, it came to be known as Vinasana in the Mahabharata. This area includes Fort Derawar and Fort Abbas, near the junction of the present-day borders of Pakistan, Rajasthan, and Haryana.
The Sanctuary of Truth (Prasat Sut-Tham)— Located in Pattaya, Thailand, is a profound architectural testament to the ancient Indian philosophy.
1️⃣The Western Hall (The Hall of Origin): This section is perhaps the most direct link to Hindu traditions. It features grand, high-relief carvings of the Trimurti: Brahma (the Creator), Vishnu (the Preserver), and Shiva (the Transformer). These deities are depicted as the conquerors of the four classical elements—Earth, Water, Wind, and Fire—reflecting the Vedic understanding of the material world.
2️⃣Dominating the rooftop is a majestic sculpture of the four-faced Brahma. In the context of the sanctuary, this represents the foundational pillars of a virtuous life: respect for father, mother, teacher, and the King (or the state).
3️⃣The Southern Hall draws from ancient Indian astronomical and zodiacal systems (Rashi Chakra). It depicts the Sun, Moon, and planets, reflecting the Indian belief in the cyclic nature of time and the influence of celestial bodies on human destiny.
4️⃣Throughout the structure, you can find intricate depictions of stories from the Ramayana and Mahabharata. One prominent example is the high-relief panel of Goddess Durga in the Eastern Hall, shown in her ten-armed form fighting the demon Mahishasura. This demonstrates the deep reverence for Shakti (divine feminine energy) that has permeated Southeast Asian culture for centuries.
