@twit_grim@WarArchiveClips Get read of weapons. Raise your hands. Actively vocalise that you are surrendering. Only after that enemy might think on accepting it. If they will have any doubts that you are a threat - you are dead. It's late to try to surrender when bullets are flying towards you.
@markcocjin@WarArchiveClips That's how even roads in the killzone is being defended. But Baba Yaga drone can bring 20 kilo bomb, so protection doesn't help a lot.
@twit_grim@WarArchiveClips Russians tell their own soldiers that they will be killed if try to surrender. So it's a rare occasion. Also to surrender you need to do a bit more then raise hands last second.
@VinnyPaulPetro@Rahulji_1900@WarArchiveClips Ukrainian drone operators get e-points for their work. Capturing russian soldier gives you 120 points, killing - only 6. So they would like to capture. But surrendering means raising hands, discarding weapons, yelling "I surrender". All Geneva stuff.
