A 36-year-old mother of four, who was arrested over allegations of ab¥sing her minor daughter and broadcasting the s+xual ab¥se online, has pleaded for forgiveness.

During an interrogation, the woman admitted that the highest amount she had reportedly made from the activity was $300.

“Please forgive, it will not happen again,” she pleaded when asked about the allegations.

When asked how much she had made from the platform, she replied, “$300.”

The interrogator, however, rejected her plea, insisting that she must face the consequences of her alleged actions.

He questioned why she would involve a minor despite the alleged financial gains, stressing that the welfare of the child should have taken priority.

He also disputed the woman’s claim that the videos were AI-generated, pointing to the number of videos, different clothing and other details as indications that the incidents allegedly occurred on different occasions.

According to him, the content was reportedly broadcast live before viewers recorded and circulated it on other platforms.

He further stated that people had contacted the woman to warn her about the content, but that she continued posting online and allegedly claimed that “nothing will happen.”

The interrogator also accused her of resisting security personnel during her arrest and maintaining that the content was AI-generated.

He concluded that an apology would not be enough, saying, “You must face the consequences. You can never go scot free.”

I genuinely believe religion has played a massive role in keeping Africa poor. The damage it has done to our institutions, critical thinking and society runs so deep that becoming more “developed” won’t fix it. We’d need to actively unlearn a lot.
