Deadbeat uncle is out of the ICU and back home with a plan for his heart surgery (aneurysms and blockages) and home health set up. Guess the universe thought him coding AGAIN was enough karma. And if he croaks at home, somebody will find his dog sooner than later!

Needless to say I will NOT be the one bringing my mom to see him. My face tells EVERYTHING I'm thinking. No poker face. One day, when I see her again, I'll apologize to my grandma for not rising above. My mother had to tell her it was OK to pass on, that he wasn't coming!

The uncle who wasn't there for his parents' funerals and didn't help my mother at all with their care fills his FB feed with Catholic crap and is currently in the ICU. Karma's a bitch, Uncle John.

And had he stayed involved at all, he'd have known years ago about Poppy's multiple heart attacks and strokes so he could have monitored his health. Oh, he's got aneurysms, too. Hopefully he's got a friend willing to adopt his Great Dane puppy if he bites it.

@lindaalmond8 @marxculture @ruskin147 My Abby girl stole a bag of flour off the laundry room shelf TWICE to eat. And dragged it to the kitchen the first time and took the second bag all the way to the living room. Flour is no fun to get out of carpet. She liked to tattle on herself.
