Crypto has a trust problem, and traders are a big part of it.
Fake PnL screenshots. Photoshopped dashboards. "I turned $100 into $50k" with zero proof. This is why people still put "scam" and "crypto" in the same sentence.
Prop firms can't verify track records. Copy-trade followers get burned. And real traders with real results? They have no way to prove they're legit.
So I built Preuval.
It connects to your exchange with a read-only API key, pulls every trade, fee, and funding payment, then independently recomputes your entire equity curve from scratch. No screenshots. No self-reported numbers. Just math.
Everything gets sealed with SHA-256. Change one digit and the whole seal breaks.
The result is a public verification link that anyone can check. No account needed.

Your track record is real. Now prove it.

Unpopular opinion: "on-chain verified PnL" is just the fake screenshot with better PR.
Crypto Twitter is flooded with Fomo PnL flexes right now. Six and seven figures, all "verifiable."
But look at what's actually being verified:
A trade happened. That's it.
It doesn't tell you:
– whether the gains are realized or just
paper
– whether there's enough liquidity to exit
– what the losing wallets look like
– what the full track record is, not just the best month
$2M in unrealized gains on a coin with $50k of liquidity isn't $2M. It's a number on a screen, and the people copying that trader are the exit liquidity.
Per Bitcoin(.)com's weekly review: of 429k Fomo traders, roughly 5% are in profit.
Proof isn't "look, it's on-chain." Proof is independently recomputing the whole account: every trade, fee and funding payment, realized separately from paper, reconciled against the real balance.
That's what I'm building with Preuval for CEX perp traders. Read-only API key in, recomputed equity curve and tamper-proof report out.
If your track record is real, prove it. If you won't, people will start asking why.
Just use Preuval
Things crypto traders will do before verifying their PnL:
•screenshot their Binance app at the perfect moment
•crop out the losing trades
•ask ChatGPT to edit their screen to show better numbers
•flex a demo account as real
•post "results not typical" in 4px font
•block anyone who asks for proof
Meanwhile it takes 2 minutes to cryptographically verify your entire track record from raw exchange data.
But I guess that only works if the numbers are real 🤷

@waleswoosh The fact that "not even fake ones" is a flex says everything about crypto PnL culture right now lol
Built https://t.co/yx2z5vYL3X to fix exactly this. It recomputes your track record from raw exchange data so you can actually prove it's real.
Or in Arc's case... prove it's not 💀
@Belial_eth@yodacalls This is literally why I built https://t.co/yx2z5vYL3X
Connects to your exchange, recomputes every trade from raw data, and seals it cryptographically. Anyone can verify the link.
No more screenshots. No more "trust me bro."
If it's real, it takes 2 minutes to prove it.
@Dk0797@PR0H0S This is why I built preuval, it connects to the exchange, recomputes every trade from raw data, seals it cryptographically. Check it out
@KCTrades777@OptionsBuffett@AurelionTrades@_22Trades This is why screenshots should never be trusted as proof. Literally built a tool that recomputes equity curves from raw exchange data. If anything’s faked the math just doesn’t add up. The fact this doesn’t exist yet in the industry is wild
@Cryptoze It won’t stop until there’s a way to verify PnL against actual exchange data. Right now there’s no difference between a real trader and a good Photoshop
@MichaelXBT Screen recordings can be faked too. Until there’s a way to independently verify trades against the actual exchange data, everything is just a different flavor of trust me bro
real question for crypto traders:
how do you actually prove your track record is real?
screenshots? fakeable in seconds
exchange dashboards? inspect element
self-reported journals? who's checking?
been building something that makes faking mathematically impossible. more soon
