Christmas Gift Ideas 2022: something you want, something you need, something to wear, something to read. Online finds and local treats. https://t.co/AIgQerDAMO
@lottyburns Timing? But I’ve never had more than 10 kids at a party. If it’s a whole class thing at soft play or some other hellish place, you can chop up a tray bake for party bags & have the birthday kid blow out candles on a smaller cake for the birthday family to take home?
Wow @connor_allen92's autobiographical grime-theatre mash-up blew us away. On @thecentre in Cardiff until 19 Nov - go see it. Read my review for why. Live rap and grime music; big themes of race, identity and absent dads; awesome production. https://t.co/44n47wHSlR

March of the Mummies 2022. I can’t believe we’re still protesting this shit. Childcare costs, parental leave and flexible working need reform. https://t.co/I2jgK69uIC
Halloween Half Term Overwhelm hitting you hard already? Me too. The FOMO is high and rising. Here's a little list of some of the local goings on. Share away, tag yourselves and all that. https://t.co/PvbRq5pKh2
@lottyburns It is paying for friends but certain kinds of friends with a certain level of income. When I had my first baby at 25 I couldn’t afford NCT but earned too much to qualify for their bursary. I had no friends with babies. Made a couple but not a group. No antenatal classes either.
@Resour1Teaching Primary son: fun drama club, digital tech club (coding etc), book club

@genuineplacebo@GOSHCharity I really don’t like this approach. It’s a real stress and faff having to put the dogs away before opening the door. They’re usually interrupting me working or in the middle of something.
@HuddartRick@JohnDoe247365 Parent on Facebook asked how to complain, I (fellow parent) told her the actual process & shared the policy. All other comments were “email our MP” or “threaten them with the press” etc. They don’t give a shit about the agreed route, just the biggest noise.
