Health visiting established much earlier and my family had an active HV in 1957. Sad this sister does not always tell the truth; hope that is not a strong storyline

@jennielouiseee It worked particularly well for more 'mature' students who had other life experience (that said I was a HV at 23 !). The bigger problem was employing organisations saying they wanted two years experience

@jennielouiseee Having taught health visitors and school nurses following the SCPHN course we had a few who came straight from pre-registration programmes. They generally did well and had good recently used study skills.
