@fonticulus You know I love this. I updated headings to pull through a TOC and it had the same feeling. I’ll take it 💕

@KTLA We did it an hour and a half north in Ventura a few years ago - as a CASA who works with foster youth, I can vouch it’s been a great service to have and helped many youths get to work and school!

California spent billions on county jails as part of a decade-long reform. Now, the @CaStateAuditor reveals a disastrous lack of accountability by the state and local authorities, via @sacbee_news. #AB109 #JusticeReform

Maryland desperately needs youth justice reform. Senators @willcsmithjr and @jwaldstreicher, it’s time to pass the common-sense, effective bill already passed by the House of Delegates. Youth can’t wait any longer. Vote on SB853 TODAY.

The needle Kamala threaded tonight as a black woman needs to be acknowledged. How we're perceived is based on a short list of "permissible" behavior. She was strong, uncompromising and authentic without falling for bait meant to cast her as an "angry black woman." I'm in awe.

@ABC7 I took my dog out for some fresh air at the beach (Ventura), but most people were following the social distance protocols. Lots of head nods from afar. Get sunshine and air, but keep your space.

Tonight I spoke my story FOR THE FIRST TIME to a juvenile justice class, tapping into a level of vulnerability I wasn’t sure I was capable of. I hope it gave some of our future law enforcement a new perspective in making life changing decisions for youth #youthjustice #advocate

Most powerful line from @HBODocs Foster for me came from youth advocate Jessica Chandler, “My mission in life is to find me and save me.” #fosterHBO
