Huge fan of many of the bands playing @SevenSenseFest this weekend!

[Valerie Evanson @valevanson]

Even if you have never heard of the bands, rest assured the organizers of @SevenSenseFest pick the best live musicians!

@lores_truly @future_of_music @MidPointMaven Indie rock or whatever it’s called these days. For real, I haven’t had to use ticketmaster very often since the 90’s. The (<700 occupants) venues I frequent use etix . com for ticket sales. When I lived in Austin, TX in the 00’s they had a zillion alternative online ticket places

The most important album of my life:
For almost 2 decades, this @lowtheband album has been my “Emergency Calm” when anxiety spiked:

I am heartbroken to hear about Mimi from the Band, Low, who I have been a huge fan of since 2004. Thoughts and prayers to her family

[Pitchfork @pitchfork]

Mimi Parker, the drummer and co-founder of Low, has died https://t.co/qxTJDnH2Bi

@DigDoug sorry to hear

[Valerie Evanson @valevanson]

@DigDoug Doug, in theory, you have the upper hand here. If you don’t hear back, log into the onlyfans account with your email and reset the password. The reset password will come to you. Then, you can delete the account or whatever you want

@spoontheband I have one of the original Kill the Mooonlight shirts with the extra “o”

[Valerie Evanson @valevanson]

Still love that album

[Valerie Evanson @valevanson]

@chefcoreyw Beautiful and historic theater, but I passed on seeing my favorite band there because I prefer smaller, non-seated venues

[Valerie Evanson @valevanson]

New Albany, IN was rocked by Villa Mure last night! Loved the Rush cover

[Valerie Evanson @valevanson]

So good, gave me goosebumps Elk Hound at @PoorcastleFest

[Valerie Evanson @valevanson]

Yellow Cellofane sounded dreamy at @PoorcastleFest

[Valerie Evanson @valevanson]

Been a fan of @MidlakeBand since first album in 2005(?) and now they are playing @Headliners502

[Valerie Evanson @valevanson]

Love the new album from @MidlakeBand ! Been following them since first album

[Valerie Evanson @valevanson]

@OperEveryBand Huge fan of showlistaustin but after the site was given/sold to a new owner, it only has 1/3rd the number of shows it used to

[Valerie Evanson @valevanson]

@OperEveryBand OMG… every Feb/March there is two types of music… bands at SXSW and bands not at SW… and you have to decide if you will listen to the latter

[Valerie Evanson @valevanson]

Love the new @spoontheband album, Lucifer On The Sofa… reminds me of their older stuff which is my favorite

[Valerie Evanson @valevanson]

@MissKrisSxSW @PasteMagazine Yay! @PasteMagazine always had the best SXSW shows!
