A woman reportedly gave the car her husband gifted her as a seed offering to her pastor without telling him. The husband later went to collect the car back.

Our deep-rooted ancestral hospitality, once our greatest cultural strength, was systematically weaponized to become our ultimate Waterloo-and tragically, it remains our biggest blind spot today.
Historically, when European explorers and missionaries arrived, our ancestors operated on Ubuntu, feeding and sheltering them, entirely unaware that this kindness was viewed as weakness and an opportunity for military and economic infiltration. Today, we run the exact same catastrophic script: we roll out the red carpet for foreign corporations, investors, and "expats," offering them tax holidays, unregulated access to our resources, and VIP social deference, while local African entrepreneurs are choked by bureaucracy and treated with suspicion in their own countries.
We must urgently unlearn this trauma-response of people-pleasing the globe; we have to establish ruthless strategic boundaries and realize that hospitality without sovereignty is just voluntary subjugation. It is time to lock the doors, stop giving away the kingdom for free, and demand that access to Africa is earned and strictly beneficial to Africans first.
