More Monday morning reading.
The fight is on right now.
Excerpt:
"Our checkmate is Vote YES on I-645," Walsh told the @jcurleyshow, referring to the unconstitutional state income tax. “We have a three-pronged tax system in WA state. We have a sales tax, we have a property tax, and we have a business tax. Let’s protect what works and not keep mucking with it by creating new taxes."

Here (again) is the link to my SeattleRed column on the deceitful mailer against the initiative to protect girls' sports in WA: https://t.co/VNpNpqrQIA
Friday Q&A (10/16/26). From a windy Port of Grays Harbor, with a cargo ship loading in the background and a train just out of frame beginning its run back east.
1) There's all this media about SW Washington girl track runners 𝗿𝗲𝗳𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗮 𝗺𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗮 𝗯𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗯𝗼𝘆 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲. Why is this particular story getting so much attention? There are many other examples.
2) Not really surprised that [State School Superintendent] Reykdal is 𝘁𝗿𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗮𝘅 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘁 [program] in WA. He's a puppet. But how can you let him get away with the "discrimination" claim? Choice is a way to STOP discrimination in education.
3) I read your article about the phony mailer about the initiative to protect girls' sports. But didn't you miss the main point? Doesn't the mailer 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀' 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀?
4) There's a text message going around that opposes the State Supreme Court judges you support by 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗻 "𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘁" who opposes abortion even in cases of rape or incest. Is that true?
5) Can you explain how a sitting State Representative can 𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗱 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 during an election season? This seems against the rules.
6) Is it true that the 𝗙𝗲𝗱𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 (KCRHA) over missing money? $17 million?
7) Washington ranks as the 8th most expensive state in the U.S. The 𝗪𝗔 𝗗𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗰𝗿𝗮𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆? They've been running Washington for 40 years!
𝗔𝗻𝘀𝘄𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗼.
Resist tyranny.
Do it happily. Our beautiful state deserves to be defended by free people.
Remember: Peaceful non-compliance with bad government action is a powerful tool for change.

@JimWalshLD19@PNWConservative I love you Jim walsh. People who are looking for the truth will do diligent research. People who want others to do the work for them just blindly accept lies. Unfortunately we have more of the latter in this state.
@GarfiedLoversFB@JimWalshLD19@danielwreporter You brought up one statue but you didn't read the washington state constitution, washington state law and this bill which I had Grok all read and put both your arguments into contexts and Grok sided with Jim walsh
@GarfiedLoversFB@JimWalshLD19@danielwreporter Jim Walsh has the stronger practical and legal point. The account quoting Sec. 202 is accurately citing the statute, but that language does not create a hard, enforceable lock on the money the way a true dedicated account would.
@danielwreporter Bill titles and intent sections are dicta. Fluff. They don't become statute. I'm surprised you don't know that.
Do better.
You've lost this argument. Take L and move on to a topic you know better.
Second stop on a busy Saturday.
The John Braun for Congress event at The Duck Inn in Skamokawa. A landmark in Wahkiakum County and all of SW Washington.
If you know, you know....
