You guys are genuinely just looking for an excuse to turn yourselves into a fucking anxiety pretzel at this point. 🤣
Seriously: chill the FUCK out.
Ride out this week. Maybe ride out next week too.
Whatever is about to happen over the next two weeks has almost certainly already been decided, scheduled, approved, packaged, and shoved into whatever corporate pipeline it needs to be in so you are not going to alter the timeline by refreshing Twitter 900 times and developing a new conspiracy every 14 minutes.
Wait. Watch. Touch grass. Eat something. Go stare at a tree.
Then, when the actual moment comes, we act accordingly.
There is literally nothing any of us can do right now to change what is already in motion.
Take the obvious Hopium and just go chill the fuck out.
Thank you for attending my PSA.
Please forward this to anyone currently failing to chill the fuck out. 🫡
@allemood@baldgirl789 If you're talking about Heartbeat Ripples then I think it doesn't really count. It was a multi in a sense that it featured multiple lis (og3) but it had a different wish system than normal banners and only featured 3 limited 4 star cards (other rewards were some accessories and
And done. I will admit it was challenging to cover this massive rabbit hole (wolf hole?), so thanks to those who pointed me in the right direction.
While I don't play Love and Deepspace, I am certainly and strongly against all forms of censorship (and I love wolves😉).
I don't know whether this massive community effort will bring results and get Valko back, but I hope they at least get a well-deserved response from the developers, and if I see Infold at TGS again this year, I'll tell them exactly that. 🐺

@AwoooVALKO I'll be fine, I promise.😉
It's really sad to see the fanbase of the same game divided like this. Some don't understand that variety of content is indispensible for a game's growth, and without growth, games shut down.
Fans of the Love and Deepspace Otome Game have taken over Cologne Airport (and more) during gamescom to ask for the return of Valko, a character canceled following massive backlash in China.🐺

I need people to stop turning this boycott into a purity contest.
Yes, DAU matters. Qimai itself gives us a pretty obvious example on Day 1 of Rafayel’s Myth banner:
- NetEase Music #10 : $295,734
- LaDS #11 : $1,253,798
- LoL #12 : $719,101
LaDS made significantly more than both, yet still only ranked #11 overall.
So clearly, revenue alone doesn’t determine Qimai’s overall ranking. DAU, downloads, engagement, and other metrics likely play a role too.
But revenue decline is still our #1 priority. PERIOD!
If someone can completely stop playing, great. Lower DAU adds pressure. But if someone still logs in while refusing to spend, that does not make their participation meaningless. A boycott aimed at hurting revenue succeeds first and foremost by withholding money.
And remember this Qimai data is CN-IOS-specific. We do not have enough visibility into global DAU to confidently apply the exact same conclusions worldwide.
So stop using DAU as another excuse to police, stalk, or shame other boycotters.
No spending is the priority. Lower DAU is additional pressure. Both help, but they are not the same thing.
