I am a board certified immunologist. My wife is a pediatric ER physician.
I've followed #COVID vaccine data in teens & adults, read Pfizer safety/efficacy data in 5-11 year olds & listened to FDA discussion
We will vaccinate our 8 & 11 year old children w confidence & gratitude
Watch the fabulous Duchess of York @SarahTheDuchess read "Happy to be You," on her YouTube channel. Illustrated by my good friend @jandolby, written by Diane Hull. Does this make Jan kidlit royalty? I think it just might!

Antivaxxers are planning to protest at hospitals in 10 provinces again on Monday.
Antivaxxers should NOT be allowed to protest outside hospitals, harass health workers & shame patients trying to access care.

Time to re-post this. It shows why #IBelieveInVaccines. Don't take good health for granted. When I worked in Niger, I saw SO much illness & death from vaccine-preventable infections like measles, polio, meningitis. Please get a COVID vaccine to protect yourself & your loved ones.
If you're okay with hot dogs, cigarettes & high-power energy drinks but convinced that vaccines will harm you, it's time for a talk. #GetTheFactsAboutVax
📣 Know someone who has not received their first dose of the #COVID19 vaccine? Starting Monday, July 12, most #YorkRegion Public Health COVID-19 vaccine clinics will be accepting walk-ins for FIRST DOSES ONLY. 🚶(1/4)
It’s critically important those who haven't received their first #COVID19 vaccine do so as soon as possible. A complete vaccine series of two doses offers a strong, sustained level of protection against COVID-19 and variants. Book today https://t.co/ibR67xYnxI #IGotMyVaccineInYR
