No crown land to hunt drastically reduces the number of Hunters (but screws conservation efforts). I wonder what will happen to the trap lines?

@RockyHuff3 Apply the same rules taxpayers follow. If I don't file my taxes, my child benefit payment cease until my taxes are submitted. No financial statements should result in a suspension of Government benefits. Does this not seem logical?

A Call To Every Young Person On Earth

You are living at the most important moment in human history.

Not because of what has already happened. Because of what is about to be decided. And your generation is the one that gets to decide it.

Every generation before you fought for something worth preserving. Freedom of movement. Freedom of speech. Freedom to own property, build a life, and exist without asking permission from a government system to do it.

Those freedoms are now on the table. And the people trying to take them are counting specifically on young people being too distracted to notice.

They are wrong about you.

Your grandparents did not have the tools you have. They could not reach millions of people in seconds. They could not organize across borders without leaving their homes. They could not document injustice and share it with the entire world before authorities could respond.

You can do all of that before breakfast.

That is not a small thing. That is the most powerful communication capability any generation in human history has ever held. And right now that power is needed more urgently than it has ever been.

Digital ID systems are being built that will tie your entire identity to a government controlled profile. Your health records, financial access, travel permissions, and social behavior all visible and all controllable by whoever holds the keys to that system.

Central bank digital currencies are being developed that will replace physical cash with programmable money. Money that can be switched off, restricted by category, or frozen entirely based on decisions made above your head by people you never voted for.

Biometric data is being collected from you right now. Your face. Your voice. Your behavioral patterns. Stored in corporate databases with no binding guarantee of how that data will be used ten years from now when the infrastructure around it is fully operational.

This is not the world previous generations fought to hand to you.

Your grandparents who lived through genuine totalitarianism would recognize exactly what is being built right now. They would be begging you to speak.

So speak.

You do not need permission to raise your voice. You do not need a platform or a following or a title. You need the willingness to say out loud what you can already see happening.

Post about it. Talk about it at school. Bring it up at dinner. Ask your teachers uncomfortable questions. Demand your local representatives answer where they stand on digital ID and CBDC adoption.

Be the voice that the generation before you did not have when they needed it most.

Previous generations could not stop what was done to them because the systems moved faster than the public conversation could keep up. You do not have that problem. The information is available. The tools are in your hands. The window is still open.

Be loud enough that closing it becomes impossible.

Public pressure works

Ordinary people have shut down corporate giants before. They can do it again. Public pressure is the most powerful weapon we have and history proves it works.

In 2021 WhatsApp tried to share your data with Facebook. The backlash was so massive that millions fled to Signal overnight and WhatsApp was forced to back down.

In 2022 sustained public campaigning forced Amazon to halt sales of its Rekognition facial recognition software to police departments entirely.

IBM exited the facial recognition business completely in 2020. Microsoft restricted its facial recognition tools shortly after. Both cited public pressure as the reason.

These corporations did not grow a conscience. They felt the heat and they moved. That is the lever. Use it.

Here is what we are demanding from Meta, Google, Apple, Microsoft, and Amazon right now.

Zero biometric data collection from anyone under eighteen. Full stop.

Complete disclosure of every biometric data point already collected from minors.

Immediate deletion of all children's biometric data collected without explicit parental consent.

A binding public commitment to never share children's biometric data with any government agency or third party under any circumstances whatsoever.

Independent third party auditing of every biometric system that touches a minor. Transparent. Published. Binding.

These are not extreme demands. They are the bare minimum any ethical technology company should already be operating under.

It is being withdrawn right now by Canadians who will not hand their children's permanent biological identifiers to corporations with zero binding obligation to protect them.
