@andrew94330180@Phil1UpCollects@HappiestAku Slop is the magical word nowadays to call anything that you personally don't like but at the end of the day is just that, something you don't like.
@LioFotia16 And there is s reason for that.
"hardcore fans" are really loud on the internet but they don't buy tickets.
Capcom knows it, that's why the CGI movies only had limited showings on theaters.
@HappiestAku You’re probably not being sincere. If you genuinely think people who watch movies are just sheep, then why the hell do you even care that Resident Evil is getting a film adaptation? Shouldn’t you just stick to the games and ignore the entire medium you clearly look down on?
@SteveRudzinski Totally respectful take.
Kind of agree but it also sets a interesting potential scenario for the sequel if they go the route I'm thinking.
@PunishedGlowy@ReactionaryLuma Because as long as the movie connects with the general public, it doesn't matter how far you deviate from the source material.
Anderson proved that many times.
Not a single one of his movies flopped financially
That 2021 movie on the other hand....
@Daykerpriest I would never use the word "hate" in a discussion about a movie that I didn't like.
Some of you people (regardless of your opinions) take this stuff to really unhealthy territory.
