🚨 SHAME ON THE UK: Dogs dumped like TRASH in a cage by the roadside while shelters overflow! 😡

Three innocent dogs crammed into a tiny wire cage, abandoned on a grassy verge like worthless rubbish. This is Britain in 2025/2026.

RSPCA reports massive surges in pet abandonments:

• Wales: +51%
• Essex: +41%
• Bedfordshire: +44%

Rescue centres are FULL. No space. No funding. Meanwhile, breeders keep pumping out puppies, councils hand out licences, and online sites make it easier than ever to buy then dump.

This isn’t “tough times” - this is selfish, heartless cruelty. People treat living animals like disposable toys.

Where’s the outrage? Where are the politicians demanding urgent action -mandatory neutering, breeding bans for profit-driven operations, cracking down on puppy farms, and proper chipping/enforcement?

We ban certain breeds overnight but let thousands of dogs suffer and die in cages? Hypocrisy.

The stories are lovely as are the dogs but I struggle with the idea that they are forgotten. Thailand has some of the world's most recognised dog welfare organisations, international funding, volunteers, media coverage and global supporters. Meanwhile, in Turkey, a major welfare crisis has unfolded with 149,000 dogs reported dead since the law changed, yet many people remain unaware of it. My concern is not that Thailand receives too much attention, but that other dogs in far more abusive situations receive far too little. We need more people looking beyond the countries they already know and asking where help is needed most.

SUNDAY EMERGENCIES FROM THE EARLY HOURS OF THE MORNING 💔

While much of the country enjoyed the sunshine, MLHR rescue team were responding to emergency after emergency 💔💔💔
Our first call came in at 12:30am. Gardaí had received four separate 999 calls about a pony in Dublin. We had to act, Gardaí were told pursuing a prosecution. We finally stopped at 2:30am 💔💔💔
Then at 8:30am, another heartbreaking situation, a terrified young pony abandoned beside a busy main road and parking area. Working alongside An Garda Síochána, our team safely secured the frightened pony and got him out of danger ❤️
At the very same time, our admin team was overwhelmed with reports from across Ireland:
💔 Animals tied up in blazing heat with no water
💔 Exhausted horses being driven in sulkies/traps
💔 Reports of drivers allegedly intoxicated while animals suffered
And tonight, another devastating emergency in Dublin, two dogs locked away for days without food or water. Thankfully, with Garda assistance, both dogs are now safe in our care ❤️

It is only 9.11pm and we are exhausted, worried about what the next call will bring. But we keep going because the animals need us 💔❤️
We run on compassion, dedication, and the support of the public, but the toll is enormous 💔
Weekends, late nights, emergencies… we don’t stop because we can’t 💔

Street dogs are not born dangerous. 💔

They are born into hunger… fear… stones… sticks… abuse… heat… disease… and nonstop suffering.

Outside on the streets, people beat them, terrify them, poison them, and treat them like they do not deserve to live.

But at our shelter?

Those same “dangerous” dogs jump into our arms… cuddle us… trust us… and sleep peacefully beside us.

Because love creates trust.

I am so emotional sharing this news with all the amazing supporters who believed in this dream from the beginning. ❤️

Three years ago, my son and I rescued an old working donkey and replaced the owner’s donkey cart with a motorized cart. That small step planted a dream in my heart — to one day stop donkey suffering by replacing donkey carts with motorized alternatives.

And today, with the help of kind-hearted supporters, that dream is slowly becoming reality.

In just ONE WEEK, we have already saved SIX working donkeys from lives of cruelty and suffering.

One heartbreaking case was a tiny under-one-year-old baby donkey who collapsed during brutal training while tied beside a donkey cart. He was too weak and exhausted to survive such cruelty. Sadly, we could not save him.

But we rescued the donkey beside him. Then we discovered two more donkeys in the same house living in horrific conditions. With proper legal agreements and documentation, those donkeys were rescued forever, the owner received a motorized cart instead, and legal conditions were signed that he will never keep donkeys again. The old donkey cart was also destroyed so it could never cause suffering again.

At the same time in Faisalabad, another owner officially received a brand new motorized cart from us with proper legal agreements.

We also rescued an elderly donkey from an old man and helped him start a grocery shop so he could earn with dignity without forcing his donkey to suffer anymore.

And we rescued another elderly female donkey before she could be sold into more cruelty.

All of these donkeys are now safe at our shelter. ❤️

We are preparing all the videos, rescue stories, and legal documentation properly, and very soon we will share every story publicly in detail.

This is only the beginning.

Every day mothers are killed, and their newborn babies are left behind to suffer a slow, painful death.

Hungry. Thirsty. Crying beside their mother’s body until they die one by one.

What kind of mindset allows this? A mother and father hold their own children at home, yet laugh while innocent babies scream for milk beside their dead mother.

And this cruelty keeps happening because governments order it, societies demand it, and communities stay silent.

Please make noise. Shame them. Pressure them from outside Pakistan. Tag the authorities. Speak up for TNVR instead of slaughter.

The more people speak, the more this evil is exposed.

We are drowning trying to keep up with this misery. We do not have enough space, funds, food, fuel, medicines, or staff to save them all alone.

Their mother was lying dead beside them.

These tiny newborn babies, less than a week old, were crying beside their mother’s body in extreme heat… hungry, thirsty, terrified, waiting for a mother who would never wake up again. By the time our team reached them, some had already died too.

We brought the surviving babies to safety, and another mother dog has accepted them as her own. We also brought their mother’s body back with us so she could at least be buried with dignity.

This is what dog killings are creating in Pakistan every single day. Helpless newborns left to die slowly beside their dead mothers.

Please, the world needs to speak louder. International pressure matters. Global voices, media attention, and worldwide outrage can force authorities to rethink this cruelty and finally choose humane sterilisation and TNVR instead of endless killing.
