i'm so used to wanting a good appearance, to choosing to say the things which are good for me.
I'm weak, I have problems, I'm struggling with things.
Give me feedback as u like. I'll continue existing
@shaggysurvives If you're not your favorite photographer you have betrayed yourself.
(I very much liked a work colleague's photography, he was a front end dev who'd freelanced and travelled and had a printed album of his street photography in Tokyo)
At the venue I'm staying at there's a scrubbing towel provided. Not rare, but this time I thought to try to scrub my skin using it, and it seems my skin was smoother than usual afterwards!
I've had a lot of acne in my back for 15 years, wonder if it'd have helped.
okay. It seems the process you're using isn't getting anywhere, that you haven't made sense or finished relating. (this was not a foregone answer, some people think about these issues, get their answer and move on)
So if that process is failing you, probably best to change process. Well, I guess you already know that given your opening question.
The generic advice about finding something else to do, a higher passion, seems right. Details will need to be filled in by you. I could write more stuff but to have a good shot of being helpful it'd probably better we have a call sometime
@basilYam Oh cool I guess that goes around liquid limits for air travel.
I asked GPT and it recommended Benzoyl peroxide above salicylic acid if I were only trying one, do you have experience with both or a reason to prefer salicylic acid? (I'm open to trying both but will start with 1)
@basilYam I vaguely remember being prescribed something by a skin doctor almost ten years ago but I couldn't follow the protocol at the time (something something adhd symptoms). If there's a little something I can travel with and occasional use is better than 0 I should try again. thx.
I feel somewhat like this. A friend started teaching me to love myself a few years back but I'm not really there, more indifferent than loving.
Relatedly others' love sometimes seems selfish like "you want me around because it makes you feel good, but dya want that I feel good?"
Ghosting not out of cruelty, but rather because it genuinely just does not click for you that itโs even possible for you specifically to hurt people through lack of attention when youโre so deeply convinced that your presence is only ever merely tolerated, not powerfully wanted
@mindrenewalkeys@cyanopsis Do you think this would work for an elderly person with advanced alzheimer's? How might they change their thinking to turn their life around?
@basilYam I wouldn't exclude the other types of love as being "real" but yeah, the form of love I care most for is wanting the best for the subject of love.
There's prob a mix of other people not loving me in this way, being not good at it, and me making it difficult for them to love me
