@GBresimo @HaruhiismOtaku I think you might be mixing up human as a philosophical concept and human as the biological species of homo sapien. Nobody denies that fetuses are Homo sapiens, the debate is whether they deserve the same moral worth as fully grown Homo sapiens.

@GBresimo @HaruhiismOtaku No, your kidney is a kidney. Just because a fetus is at a lesser stage of development doesn’t negate the fact it’s a homo sapien. An organism doesn’t suddenly conform to a species at a certain stage of development. A fetus is an organism of the homo sapien species.

A maple seed, however, is still an Acer just the same as a full grown maple tree. In like manner, a human is a human regardless of its developmental stage.

I’d say in the rest of the world people are becoming more reactionary. Growing unrest to immigration, lgbt, etc
