An American citizen who was killed in a Russian attack on Kyiv this week was an artist from Oregon, Fred Grandy. Upset by a reversal of US policy on Ukraine, he came to Kyiv in May to help clean up rubble from Russian attacks. He was among the 28 people killed on June 17.
