Go home kernel_task, you are drunk... Turns out this is how OSX deals with overheating — by inserting a bunch of Thread.Sleep as the highest priority o.O
@DavidWehle Since then I've been working AT Unity helping small and large studios to be successful. Seeing what Unity enables people to do always brings me joy. I'd be very sad to know that one old post of mine stopped someone from working on his dreams. Glad it didn't stop you.
@DavidWehle I am the author of that anti-Playmaker blog post you used as an example in your inspirational indie dev video. I am glad that it didn't stop you from continuing learning Unity and gamedev. It is great to see that Unity helped you achieve your dreams!
@DavidWehle That post never had an intention to discourage people from learning Playmaker and Unity, especially when they don't know how to code. In fact, I am always recommending Playmaker to start with because it is very good for small beginner projects.
@MojangSupport just tried to buy Dungeons, my card was charged but the site showed an error. Needless to say now I have no game and no money. Account: valyard#5955. Please help.
Those of you using @JetBrainsRider and Git to develop #unity3d projects: do you add ".idea" folder to ".gitignore", commit the whole folder to the repo, or commit a part of it?
@Dell D6000 laptop dock turned out to be a total scam! No review mentions that #DisplayLink can only use an integrated GPU and that it consumes so much power making my #xps overheat and throttle down to ridiculous speeds. Good job, #Dell. I wish I could return this garbage...
@morning_haze With a touch bar. I guess, it is ok... But I like tactile sense of buttons more. The most inconvenient time for using it is when I wake up in total darkness, feel obliged to check likes on facebook, get immediately blinded by the screen, and can't quickly reduce the brightness.
A few months ago I got a 13" #MacBookPro instead of my old 15", and I love it! It is big enough to work, small enough to use onboard an airplane, it is light, and the only cable I regularly use is an USBC-to-USBC to charge my phone. USBC FTW!
