imagine your entire life revolved around going to college to the point where you burnout and develop a crippling fear of failure/learned helplessness, you make it to college and graduate, and you can't find a job and it's your fault because you didn't do enough internships
this is a sad fate ive chosen for myself and it hurts me even more that im aware, but unwilling to take the steps to be brave and explore other options. its time i dont have and money im not willing to spend.
im starting to think that choosing engineering as my major is a form of self hate and punishment ive chosen for myself. i dont know what i want with my life. somehow i cant bring myself to respect myself and choose myself over the pressure of meeting someone elses expectations🙁
people have started second guessing everything they’ve ever said & stood for as if the whole illusion has shattered. You’re essentially playing with ur own image within ur own fandom, fans that respected you now losing respect cus you can’t write TWO LINES IN UR FUCKASS IG STORY
call me parasocial idgaf ik i can live without bts bc worse things have happened to me but hdjsd they’ve been my biggest source of comfort and happiness for all of my teenage years ?? i’m 22?? they’ve been w me for so long, ofc it fucking hurts
no me animo a contarle a mi mama que los bts me decepcionaron ajajajaj es como cuando un hombre del que hablaste maravillas la riega y ahora no sabes como decir que quedaste como pendeja 😭
bts being "just 7 korean boys" is true, and i'm sure it feels like that when their rise to fame was unprecedented and so quick. but at some point the responsible thing to do is realise you're also global figures with immense influence and to own that too.
et puis la sauce que namjoon il s'etait pris pcqil avait defendu frank ocean pour mtn aller tchatcher avec un mec qui a tabassé ce dit frank ocean pour la simple raison qui soit gay ⚰️⚰️⚰️
and ultimately my heart goes out to all the armys victims of domestic abuse that found a safe space in bts. i can’t even begin to imagine how seeing that must’ve felt. women deserve better.
