With utmost respect for the law and judiciary, today my son Bandi Bhageerath went before the Telangana Police through our advocates for investigation.

I have said this before too: whether it is my own son or a common citizen, everyone is equal before the law.

My son has consistently maintained that he has committed no mistake. After consulting legal experts and placing before them the evidence available with us, we were advised that the matter would be addressed appropriately through the legal process.

At the same time, I believe in fully cooperating with the investigation and respecting the judicial system.

Even though court proceedings are underway and orders are expected next week, and despite advice from our legal team, I felt there should be no hesitation from our side in cooperating with the inquiry.

I have complete faith in the justice system.

Justice may be delayed, but not denied.

In view of the recent baseless allegations, I wish to state that I have always respected the law and abided by the Constitution throughout my public life. I have lived without any stain and continue to place complete faith in the judiciary.

Dragging children and family members into political battles only reflects the desperation of those who lack the courage to fight me politically.

Some forces are unable to digest the rise of a BC leader who came from the grassroots level, served as a Corporator, and rose step by step to become a Union Minister through hard work and public support.

It is evident that this is a political hit job aimed at maligning me personally ahead of tomorrow’s public meeting of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji.

I am confident that the judiciary will determine what is right and what is wrong.

Time will answer every allegation and expose every conspiracy.

Words uttered: “If tomorrow YS Jagan Mohan Reddy says that your wives are not your wives, they would blindly believe it and even go to the extent of treating their own wives as sisters and shamelessly look for marriage alliances; such are the spineless leaders in the YSR Congress Party!”
These words were uttered by Vemuri Radha Krishna on ABN Channel. Using such repulsive language and dragging women into political discourse is not criticism; it is a disgraceful and demeaning attack on women that raises serious questions about the kind of partisan journalism being practiced.

We strongly condemn these remarks and emphasize that such statements are a deliberate attempt to insult women and distort public discourse. The real issue is that, unable to counter the “MAVIGUN” proposal politically, Chandrababu Naidu and his aligned media have resorted to diversion, misinformation, propaganda, and abuse.

We held peaceful protests demanding strict action against Radha Krishna and his unconditional apology. Despite such offensive remarks, our cadre showed restraint and did not resort to violence, demonstrating our commitment to democratic values.

Instead of condemning this disgusting narrative, @ncbn, @naralokesh, and @PawanKalyan backed and amplified these remarks. This reflects their clear misogynistic attitude. We demand immediate action against Radha Krishna and strongly condemn these leaders for supporting such a toxic and outrageous utterances.

మహిళలను ఉద్దేశించి ఇలాంటి అసహ్యకరమైన, దిగజార��న భాషను ఉపయోగించడం, వారిని రాజకీయ చర్చల్లోకి లాగడం విమర్శ కానే కాదు. ఆ వ్యాఖ్యలు మహిళలను అవమాన పరచడమే కాకుండా, వారిని కించపరిచేలా చేసిన దాడిగానే భావించాలి. ఎలాంటి వివక్ష పూరిత జర్నలిజం చేస్తున్నారన్నదానిపై ఈ వ్యాఖ్యలు తీవ్రమైన ప్రశ్నలను లేవనెత్తుతున్నాయి.

ఈ వ్యాఖ్యలను తీవ్రంగా ఖండిస్తున్నాము. ఇవి మహిళలను అవమానించడానికే కాదు, ప్రజల్లో “MAVIGUN” ప్రతిపాదనపై జరుగుతున్న చర్చను దారి మళ్లించడానికి ఉద్దేశపూర్వకంగా చేసిన ప్రయత్నం. “MAVIGUN” ప్రతిపాదనను రాజకీయంగా ఎదుర్కోలేక, చంద్రబాబు, ఆయనకు అన���కూలంగా ఉన్న మీడియా ప్రజల దృష్టిని మళ్లించే ప్రయత్నం చేస్తోంది. దీంట్లో భాగంగా తప్పుడు ప్రచారాలు చేయడమే కాకుండా దూషణలకు కూడా దిగారు.

మేము శాంతియుతంగా నిరసనలు చేపట్టి, రాధాకృష్ణపై కఠిన చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలని, ఆయన క్షమాపణ చెప్పాలని డిమాండ్ చేశాము. ఇంత తీవ్రమైన వ్యాఖ్యలు చేసినప్పటికీ, మా నాయకులు, కార్యకర్తలు ఎక్కడా హింసకు పాల్పడకుండా, శాంతియుతంగా, ప్రజాస్వామ్య విలువలను కాపాడుతూ అత్యంత సంయమనంతో వ్యవహరించారు.

ఈ జుగుప్సాకర వ్యాఖ్యలను ఖండించకుండా, చంద్రబాబు, నారా లోకేష్‌, పవన్‌ కళ్యాణ్‌లు ఈ వ్యాఖ్యలకు మద్దతు ఇవ్వడం, మహిళల పట్ల వారికి ఉన్న అవమానకర ధోరణిని, ద్వేషభావాన్ని చూపిస్తోంది. రాధాకృష్ణపై తక్షణ చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలని డిమాండ్ చేస్తున్నాము. బాధ్యతారహిత, విషపూరిత వ్యాఖ్యలను సమర్థించిన నాయకుల వైఖరిని మేము తీవ్రంగా ఖండిస్తున్న��ం.

It has come to the notice of the Hyderabad City Police that on 25-07-2025, Sri K.T. Rama Rao, MLA and Working President of the BRS Party, made serious allegations against the police in connection with FIR No. 441/2025 registered at Jubilee Hills Police Station. He alleged that attempt-to-murder charges were wrongly invoked against Smt. Swetha, W/o Sri Gellu Srinivas Yadav, and further passed some derogatory comments on police.

𝗜𝗻 𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗶𝗿𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘂𝗽𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆:

On 28-06-2025, a complaint was lodged by Dr. K. Ajitha, Executive Editor of Mahaa News (M/s Monica Broadcasting Pvt. Ltd.), regarding a violent mob attack at their Jubilee Hills office, carried out by members of the BRSV with an intent to kill the editorial staff. The complaint detailed that around 1:30 PM, a group of 25–30 persons pelted stones, broke glass windows, damaged property, forcibly attempted entry, injured staff members, and issued death threats to editorial leadership. The mob also used abusive and gendered language before fleeing the scene upon sensing the possible arrival of police.

In this regard, a case was registered as Crime No. 441/2025 under Sections 331(5), 331(7), 109(1), 118(1), 126(2), 324(5), 324(6), 351(3), 79 r/w 3(5) of BNS at PS Jubilee Hills.

During the investigation, Sri Gellu Srinivas Yadav was identified as the prime accused in the case. Upon enquiry, learnt that he resides at Flat No. 1209, MLA Quarters, Hyderguda, a flat officially allotted to the Sri Vijayudu, MLA of Alampur. When a police team visited the premises to apprehend him, Smt. Swetha, his spouse, locked the house from inside and refused to cooperate with officers. Despite repeated requests, she neither confirmed his presence nor allowed entry for nearly an hour. Further suspicion arose when police called on Gellu Srinivas’s mobile number and the device was found to be ringing from inside the house, confirming its presence there. However, Smt. Swetha continued to withhold cooperation. Later, it was discovered that Gellu Srinivas was hiding at BRS Bhavan.

Upon further probe, it was learned that Gellu Srinivas Yadav had handed over his mobile phone to his driver and sent it to his residence. He also instructed Smt. Swetha to delete data from the phone and conceal it, clearly demonstrating an intention to mislead the investigation and tamper with evidence.

Accordingly, as per due legal procedure, sections pertaining to causing disappearance of evidence and furnishing false information to police i.e., 238 BNS was invoked against Smt. Swetha. No attempt-to-murder charges have been applied against Smt. Swetha, as she was not present at the scene of the offence and had no direct role in the act of violence. A notice was issued to her strictly for the purpose of questioning regarding the concealment of Gellu Srinivas’s mobile phone and her refusal to hand over the device to the police. The present allegations and statements appear to be part of a smear campaign aimed at discrediting the police for political reasons.

The Hyderabad City Police is committed to conducting a fair, unbiased, and professional investigation into all cases, regardless of political affiliations. We strongly condemn the baseless allegations intended to discredit police functioning and urge responsible leaders and parties to refrain from politicizing criminal investigations. Such attempts to mislead the public narrative not only undermine police morale but also hinder the cause of justice for the victims of violent incidents.
