If it's weird because you just didn't look up a reference and didn't know there are no muscles in the lower leg or that the joint placement isn't that way, then it's bad

I don't want to be a doomer about all of this - I will continue to create, and I do believe that at some point we'll all find a space that feels safe again, but right now it's not clear where that safe space is. Whenever I do become more active I'll link people to where that is.

So... folks may have noticed I haven't been active here for a long time. In fact I haven't been active on any social media for a while. The reason is that I no longer feel safe posting art anywhere, and art was my primary reason for engaging with most social media.

It's never clear which platform will suddenly turn heel and sell all your work to be scraped, or what miserable asshole will steal your WIPs to pass them off as their own work in a scam. I just don't get the same joy posting my work any more.

@FF_XIV_EN Hey, I understand the system is under a lot of stress, but my character is currently stuck in limbo between Faerie and Coeurl getting errors on both sides and I'm honestly really really disappointed that I basically have no option to play when I went to the trouble of preordering

I love that the portrait of King Charles looks like he'd give me Scarlet Rot, and also that later on in this story I'll encounter him in some ruins as an optional boss transformed into an eldritch horror who does Rot damage. I wonder what items he drops...

This weekend I tried out the beta for #rivals2 and I, a very average and casual player jumped into the online matchups for the very first time only to be immediately matched with @gsmVoiD lmao I’m like man I know I’m not much but this person sure is kicking my ass…oh… welllp..

I feel like you can tell that whatever group of execs at Autodesk are in charge of branding are most likely all dudes. How else would sane people go through with an entire rebranding campaign renaming "Shotgrid" to "Flow" and not have a single person make a period joke?
