This isn’t a Sunday funday post @skel ; in fact, it’s a very painful one, but I’ve learned that there is beauty even in pain.
It would mean the world to me to donate these $10k from your giveaway to help my people who are suffering so much.
I wanted to show you a little bit of what my country, Venezuela 🇻🇪, was like before the double earthquake on June 24, 2026.
This is in La Guaira, which has some wonderful beaches where I’ve spent many vacations. Today, it’s in ruins—there are many collapsed buildings, displaced people, injured, and deceased. The level of destruction is heartbreaking 💔.

🇻🇪 Here's a reminder of what La Guaira, Venezuela looks like after 2 earthquakes struck the coastal city last week, back to back.
Collapsed buildings and debris stretch across areas hardest hit. Nearly 2,000 people are confirmed dead, with thousands still missing.
From the air, the scale of destruction is catastrophic.

🚨🇻🇪 UPDATE: More shocking footage out of Venezuela from last week's devastating earthquakes...
At least 1,450 people are dead, 3,150 are injured, and nearly 50,000 are missing.
It was the worst earthquake to hit the country in a century, back-to-back 7.2- and 7.5-magnitude seismic events, occurring just 39 seconds apart.
The epicenters were centered near San Felipe, Yaracuy, along the boundary of the Caribbean and South American tectonic plates.
The tremors sent powerful shockwaves that were felt as far away as Colombia and Aruba.
More than 774 buildings have totally or partially collapsed, and up to 58,000 structures suffered varying degrees of damage.
