An update on our engagement with @Mastercard.

While Cardano was not included in the initial cohort of 85 launch partners, @emurgo_io has been actively engaging with their APAC team to change that and ensure our ecosystem is represented.

Following a leadership transition at Mastercard APAC —where our primary contact moved to EY — we have successfully connected with his successors. They were excited to speak with us and I am pleased to share we are now in the Qualification Stage for the Global Crypto Partner Program.

This is where blockchain shines.

Flow:
1.Agent A locks funds in a smart contract.
2.Agent B performs work.
3.Contract releases funds if conditions met.

This removes:
•Trust
•API key sharing
•Payment disputes

This is useful in:
•AI marketplaces
•Decentralized data providers
•Compute marketplaces
•Agent-to-agent service contracts

ADA devs, is it true that contracts that behave the same generate the same hash ?

so Agents (or their operators) can audit smart contracts ?

confirm it produces the same hash

@jumperz Except .. you can build your own n8n ai team builder with claude. Pass context files from one connected agent to another. Experimenting with this and starting to get nice results.

Software can be easily replicated and copied with tools like Claude and thus - has no value -

Building wisdom and experience however takes years.

Facebook , Whatsapp, Instagram -> takes 1 week to replicate. But they have first movers advantage. Try to convince your family and friends to move to something else.

SAP -> only databases, input fields and transactions. But a lot of domain expertise in finance, supply chain, purchasing, sales, service, production, inventory management etc. (maybe bad example because I'm not a that big fan of SAP, but that's exactly the difficulty I face in wanting to replicate SAP).

Blockchain-> look at all the meme coins, it takes 5 minutes to create a fake coin, and 5 days for a simple blockchain. BUT ..how do you make it safe, fast, trustworthy, unbreakable, programmable, private, ...

companies and blockchains that keep investing in their development will survive and become even stronger. But right now people are panicking because they think everything will go down forever.

Cardano will become a public ledger and digital transportation network :)

I would welcome the uncomfortable conversations. Because finding use cases is not only a difficulty for cardano but also for startups. With Claude code for example every company can now build their own applications, they will replace costly giants like SAP ERP, Odoo, CRM tools , Etc. What remains is the need for compute, storage, llm’s. We need to really focus on low cost high speed digital transactions , digital identities, verification methods, smart contracts dictionaries, and make the benefits super easy to understand. We need to put a lot more effort in linking companies and governments with each other (automation of administration, taxes, accountability, transparency for example) . I don’t know who will and can do these kind of things

People forget that most of us have been struggling already for 7 years. Not a few months. The rise to 1.26 usd for ada was nothing. We could finally hope for better times, but then .. I lost everything but finally I’m free again.

The retail that is here is mainly here because we believe in the underlying values, not because of the retail products. We need to yell louder that we want our governments, policies, tax spendings, company audits etc on blockchain. Identity, Transparency, democracy, accountability , equal access, .. it all matters. That’s the message to our politici.

Cardano Veridian and midnight are perfect for all kind of control and validation mechanics for companies and governments example voting in the US, it could provide safe solutions globally like the peppol code for invoicing in the eu, the itsme app in Belgium for identification and access to bank or government apps or give approvals for payments. Maybe even real world assets (like money on your bankaccount) can be digital copy on the blockchain. All solutions require official and current institutions involvement.

let's say that I started with years of simply accumulating. then I started learning about all the DEFI Projects. instead of cashing out at 1.26 , I put a good amount from the original saved 66k ada into DEFI projects that i really supported. They Lost so much in ada value , some mistakes like Nuvola but eventually all of them nuked, that I ended up with 25 k ada. then I tried to get back to my original amount with trading. left with 10 k ada. then with the last 10 k tried perps on strike finance (10 X -> I had to go away and quickly put a wrong stop loss. So yes, irresponsible, unlucky, emotional. Maybe there is a reason why perps are prohibited in Belgium..
