Just a day trip from Sendai city, and here they are-majestic Japanese serowes (Capricornis crispus) on Oshima island, Kesennuma! These large goat-antelopes, found only in Japan, greeted us. Kesennuma, a historic fishing port in northern Miyagi, is not just famous for seafood.

This was my second visit to Vienna. I was pleased to have the chance to visit the Hundertwasserhaus and Musikverein for the first time, I had such a wonderful time!

I visited Vienna with family connections in mind. The University of Vienna caught my attention. The busts of renowned professors like Schrödinger and the historic buildings gave a realsense of its rich history. With great weather, we also enjoyed Heuringer in the vineyard!

NHKの#街角ピアノでニューオーリンズの近況をみた。大きな台風災害から立ち直っているようだ。私たちが訪ねたのは1997年。台風の前。ジャズも聴いたし、ベネーも食べた。
土産に買ってきた人形は今も部屋にあり、なぜか「よしこちゃん」と呼ばれている。名物のザリガニ🦞の柄の服を着ている。
