"the people just want to burn it all down" is such a total joke.

I've seen people who call for the execution of political opponents balk when ICE offed a handful of leftist agitators in Minneapolis.

I've seen White Nationalists turn on Shiloh Hendrix and say no one should ever call a child the N-word.

And now I've seen people who call for radical strength and public exercise of authority get really squeamish about the idea of executing a terrorist in public.

The sentiment exists, certainly, and people are plenty happy to talk about how much they think the system should change, or how we need something different, or call for any number of extreme solutions and radical changes.

However, when far less radical changes manifest into reality, many of these people suddenly back off from these things. The reality is that they simply do just want to talk, and are very scared of real changes.

They are absolutely unhappy with the way things are, but even if they might say they want major systemic changes, even if they purport to be radicals or talk about any number of theories or ways they want things to change, do not actually want this and are extremely hesitant to major change.

In reality, this is just their way of expressing their discontent with their current lot in life. What they really just want are better paying jobs more readily available to them, safer neighborhoods, good schools for themselves and their kids, cheaper gas, a home they own at reasonable mortgage rates, and a wife and children. They want more friendships and community and readily available recreational activities.

These are also the kinds of things the vast majority of people have wanted, and it is very normal, because in truth they are actually just normies. They aren't wrong to want these things, and it is bad that these things have become less and less accessible, particularly for the young white man.

Major shake ups and changes are a necessity right now, but many people who claim to want these things will not actually back them. They are very hesitant for them in reality. They must first be placated with these basic things, and that is what politicians must more or less run on and provide, and then those in positions can make major changes and find people backing them.

The basics must come first, otherwise they will freak out at any real change to anything, and you will find very quickly those who said they support these things were mostly just talk.

Alexander Hamilton rejects the idea of growing the American population with broader European migration

He explains that the American Republic works because the English Constitution is common to its current inhabitants and foreigners would bring with them ingrained beliefs about society that would subvert the governing of the republic

He also states that a homogenous society is preferable and allowing foreigners to come and participate in voting or running for office is a well known mistake that has killed many republics including Rome

The death penalty is inadmissible because it is an attack on the inviolability and dignity of the person. The common good can be safeguarded and the requirements of justice can be met without recourse to capital punishment: effective systems of detention have been developed that protect citizens while at the same time do not completely deprive those who are guilty of the possibility of redemption. #NoDeathPenalty
