The National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) @NIHRresearch Global Health Research Group @NIHRglobal on Collaborative Care for Cardiometabolic Diseases (CREATE) was successively launched in Accra on Tuesday, January 17, 2023.
The Project aims to develop and test a care model to improve self-management among patients with cardiometabolic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension and heart disease.
The CREATE team brought together healthcare experts from Ghana, Kenya and Mozambique who are passionate about strengthening the continent's healthcare system in the area of integrated care for chronic conditions.
It's the launch of the CREATE project today in Accra, with @kamleshkhunti and Dr Roberta Lamptey as PIs. Presentations on the size of disease burden in Ghana by @VandyckSey, Dr Baetima and Dr Yorke. NCDs are only the tip of the iceberg @carolynctarrant@scelee1@LDC_tweets
