BREAKING: LeBron James will continue his NBA career for the 2026-27 season and has informed the Los Angeles Lakers that the franchise can move on without him because he will play elsewhere, Klutch Sports CEO Rich Paul tells ESPN.
"Welcome Home, Sacramento.”
In an open letter, Wilton Rancheria Chairman Jesus Tarango announces that Republic FC’s downtown home will be the biggest outdoor professional sports and entertainment venue in the region. The 20,000+ stadium will be the center of a transformative 31-acre project that develops a new neighborhood for Sacramento.
.@SacRepublicFC is going BIGGER ⚽️🏟️
The club is now planning a 20,000-seat stadium in the Sacramento Railyards — a major jump from the original 12,000-seat vision.
The venue will feature:
•Open-air design with a fixed canopy covering every seat
•Expandable capacity up to 27,000 for concerts
•Flexibility to host soccer, football, rugby & more
The project cost is now up to $350 million, and will be privately funded by Wilton Rancheria.
A massive statement for the future of sports & entertainment in Sacramento
@CBSSacramento
KD: “268 games to catch Kareem? Are you factoring the average?”
Ellis: “25.”
KD: “25? God d*mn!”
Light moment when Kevin Durant was asked if he thinks he could catch up to No.2 on the all-time scoring list 😅

Rooting for a team with a starting lineup of Devin, Keon, Keegan, Crawford and Isaac with 20 wins and a bunch of future picks would be infinitely better than this.
Blockbuster WNBA deal: The Seattle Storm are trading six-time All-Star Jewell Loyd to the Las Vegas Aces in a multi-team move that sends three-time All-Star Kelsey Plum to the Los Angeles Sparks, sources tell me, @ramonashelburne, @alexaphilippou, @kendra__andrews.
