Some parents really out there having a broken marriage and a fractured relationship with each other, and then keep asking their kids why they don't believe in love
I hate the nose blindness that occurs w perfume. I’m tired of everybody telling me I smell good but I can’t smell it. I don’t buy this shit for yall. now what’s the solution?!
The act itself does not move me, but In a world of 8 billion finding the other person who is the same sort of insane to do with with you is terribly romantic
i actually think "surface level" friendships are very healthy. not everyone in your life has to be your ride or die. some friends are for the gym. some are for going out. some are just for complaining about work or bureaucracy. when you stop expecting everyone to be your everything, the disappointment disappears. those deep convos and connections are for the 2-3 people closest to you
i fell in love with this quote:
"if you really like someone, being friends with them can be better than dating them." sometimes the deepest kind of love isn't about rushing into a relationship, it's about protecting what you already have. friendship lets you see them for who they truly are. no pressure, no pretending, no need to impress. you learn their heart, their habits, the way they treat people when no one's watching. it's not just about chemistry, it's about character. and if it ever turns into something more, it's not built on temporary feelings. it grows from trust, respect, and a real understanding of each other.
