I built a free map of every drainage channel in Kampala.
Tap any drain: see why it floods, what drains into it, where it's water goes.
Zoom in for a satellite view.
Can be used to report floods and queue maintenance work.

I also made a completely free website to teach women how to trade because I genuinely think more women should know how to do this 💜💜
No subscription. No course. Just free information I wish more women had access to⬇️

For survivors of Sudan’s conflict, documenting violations must lead to justice that addresses the harm they have suffered and gives them a meaningful role in shaping what comes next.
On October 14, DNHR will convene “All Eyes on Transitional Justice for Sudan,” a side event during the 89th Ordinary Session of the African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights.
The discussion will examine what can begin while the conflict continues, from protecting survivors and preserving evidence to planning reparations and ensuring displaced and refugee communities can participate safely.
Commissioner Selma Sassi-Safer, Mohammed Elgizoly Adam, Priscilla Yagu Shalom Ciesay, and Imran Darboe will join the panel, moderated by Vanessa Babirye.
Join us on October 14, 2026, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the Saint Louis Conference Hall, King Fahd Palace Hotel, Dakar, Senegal.

“Every refugee carries a story of loss, but also a story of resilience and courage.” — António Guterres
Across Sudan, millions have been forced from their homes, separated from their communities and livelihoods, and torn from loved ones.
Yet behind every statistic is a human story: a mother searching for safety for her children, a student whose education has been interrupted by war, or a family carrying memories of home across borders, uncertain when or if they will return.
On World Refugee Day, we honor the resilience of Sudanese refugees and displaced communities while calling for protection, accountability, and lasting peace.
This year’s theme, Until Everyone Is Safe, reminds us that our responsibility does not end at a border. Safety, dignity, and human rights must be upheld for all.
The world must not look away from Sudan.

A reminder ONCE again: https://t.co/yNQLlNuadK makes it incredibly easy to find and support verified fundraisers for Sudanese people. If you’ve been wondering how to help, there’s truly no excuse not to.🩷
