In honor of World Down Syndrome Day, Miss Universe was proud to be part of a meaningful initiative in Santa Tecla, where 650 participants, children with Down syndrome and their families, came together at Parque El Cafetalón.

Joined by 10 foundations, this moment reflected the power of community, inclusion, and collective action.

With the support of this visit, educational resources will be donated to the Escuela de Educación Especial de Santa Tecla, in collaboration with Fundación Global and the local government, creating opportunities that extend far beyond this day.

A mural by 22-year-old Salvadoran artist Mimi Killz now stands as a lasting symbol of this shared commitment.
