These writing and illustration skills have come a long way in a year! Can you believe we wrote all of these sight words from MEMORY?! No models, no copying! They were nervous but WHEW they rocked it out! @rhandrewselem
We had so much fun in Adapted Music last week! We created shapes with yarn and then had to use our voice to go high on the high points and low on the low points. Such a neat way to visualize this musical skill! Thanks @tfalconmusic !!! @rhandrewselem
To begin our oceanic landscape craft, the kiddos made a one-of-kind Coral Reef by putting dots of paint on their paper and blowing it all around with a straw! Now to add ocean animals and plants! @rhandrewselem
We are deeply submerged in our ocean unit! The kids loved creating their own, unique starfish today! While working, they were fascinated to watch a starfish move in a time-lapsed video! They might have a had a little snack while working, too π€ͺ @rhandrewselem

Weβve been keeping track of these guys for weeks in our stream and look what we caught today!!! The kids were so excited! We released him back gently and enjoyed watching him swim away. @rhandrewselem
Along with the fun, weβve been putting in so much work to crush our goals! Reading comprehension, CVC dictation quizzes, and studying digraphs are a few of the things weβve been working hard on the last few weeks! π @rhandrewselem
When Spring Comes by Kevin Henkes inspired us to go on a Spring Sensory Walk to figure out what we see, hear and feel in spring. We collected items to create a spring butterfly! If youβre in the building, check out our work in the hall! @rhandrewselem
