@VeltisLeEvil The first two games are pretty short if you aren't fully exploring the world. That being said, these are a masterclass in world building and rushing them does yourself a major disservice. Exodus is longer, but it's a fantastic experience
@VeltisLeEvil@Flakeey_ Yeah? I probably just had a shit build. Either way, I felt way overpowered through nearly all the games in all of my playthroughs. People who feel underpowered have major skill issues
@VeltisLeEvil@Flakeey_ The only time I felt an enemy was overly spongy was when I fought Atom Smasher at higher difficulties. Even then, he was supposed to be spongy. He was THE guy.
@VolsAF@legaltweetz@ApostateAri It floors me how people think they can tell a portion of the population that they shouldn't exist and then are somehow surprised when that portion of the population punches them in the mouth
@R4zORsh4rpo@ValyrianFPS It's not long at all. It only takes a couple hours to "beat" but if you go in blind finding the correct path to the true ending will take you multiple playthrough. I got hundreds of hours out of the n64 game
@_SpyDtroid_ It's so good! It's a shame we'll never get the sequal remade... that being said, have you played eternal darkness? That would be a fun one to see you respond to if you're going in blind
@Glasz_Half_Full@TheDavidVinc@Irina_exh A lot of it is regret due to the expectation that men trade their lives to secure a stable household for their families. That misery will soon include a massive rise in women because a single income household is next to impossible these days. We weren't meant to live this way.
@Doragrynn I bought this on clearance for like... $10. This shit was fucking great! Warriors battle with the rock paper scissors aspect that actually made you pay attention? Shit was fun
@VeltisLeEvil@BlackSaiyan97 Be nice to yo boy. If we're completely honest here... Nero is a great character that I personally like better than modern Dante. A solo Nero game or a father/son romp (although out of Vergil's character) would be pretty awesome
@VeltisLeEvil We didn't realize how good we had it back then. So many great games that somehow ran on underpowered hardware that utilized unique capabilities and neat tricks to overcome shortcomings. Eternal Darkness and Metroid Prime 2 still blow my mind with what they were able to accomplish
