We are pleased to announce  that at present the Deputy Commissioners of almost every district have adopted a Jal Jeevan Mission scheme. In the last few days, once again the Deputy Commissioners of Baksa, Bongaigaon, Chirang, Dima Hasao, Hojai, Nalbari, Sivasagar and Tinsukia have each adopted a JJM scheme under the 5-star rating initiative for Water User Committees over the past few days.
As part of this effort, a formal letter has already been sent to all the Hon'ble MPs and MLAs to adopt one scheme each.

These collective efforts aim to empower Water User Committees (WUCs), ensuring they function more effectively while promoting the sustainable management of our  water supply facilities.
