If you have ever faced an unfair or sorrowful situation in a hospital, *Doctor X: The Era of the White Mafia* will offer gentle comfort and a satisfying sense of catharsis (despite the weight of the medical noir genre). Doctor Gye Su-jeong, who begins her medical career at Guseo University Medical School, points out the problems of the older generation, who have gradually become tainted by corruption and accustomed to the closed nature of their groups. Unlike doctors in the media who have appealed with images of righteousness or kindness, *Doctor X: The Era of the White Mafia* stands upon problematic situations that many people are already familiar with or have experienced in reality.
