Terrific first night of our winter journey. @RabidBrewing south of Chicago were a terrific @harvesthosts. The craft beers and pizza were awesome only superseded by the terrific staff. Ray, Nan & T-Bear couldn’t have been more welcoming!

Terrific evening with our daughter who came to Arizona for a well earned Spring Break vacation from teaching in BC. We managed to get quite close to the wild horses around Salt River.

@mitziplayer @harvesthosts Thanks Mitzi. We debated heading east from south Texas but in the end wanted to see the northern states on our way back to Ontario. After a few weeks in Arizona, we’ll head north to Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, Dakotas and Minnesota. Safe travels. We enjoy seeing your updates.

We are on the road again! Left a cold & rainy south Texas yesterday and are now back in New Mexico. Weather is a beautiful, sunny 23c, sitting at @harvesthosts La Vina winery listening to live music on the patio. #lifeisgood

When friends ask us about our best travel stories, one of the top 5 is having a fluorescent blue tarantula fall on to our dashboard while driving in Texas. Walked in to a liquor store today and this is a poster we saw on the wall. Terror! #arachnophobia

5 hour drive today through New Mexico to Superior, Arizona. The desert views and scenery never disappoint!!
