@TheGlobal_Index @elonmusk [3] Any "other nation" entering the group of nuclear powers would also create disbalance. Basically, they don't want to deal with middle eastern volatile leaders to join the discussions of global balance. But that's why they tried to enter this "nuclear club".

USA and USSR came to the conclussion there is "assured mutual destruction in the case of a nuclear war", so everyone got scared. And decided that's a line you can't cross. So, they froze the power balance.

And arguably "keeps the West in control", but building rocketshields in UKR, not inviting RU to G7 shows complete disregard.

Yes, but don't make it a spiteful thing. Impartial objective jury. And show the world evil politicians aren't protected by impunity and need to adhere to the laws they impose themselves to others. We need modern governing around the world - this old way has to be cleaned out everywhere.

Een wetenschapper herevalueert op basis van feiten en dynamische gegevens. In de politiek denk men in termen van "lid zijn van clan x of y", losstaand van feiten. Een waar wetenschapper is idd "een zwevende kiezer" die een vertegenwoordiger kiest vanuit veranderlijke feiten getoetst aan geobserveerde handelingen in de realiteit (vs wat "er in het programma blaadje staat")

Het toont dus meer hoe men "een politieke affiniteit" aanschouwt en in mindere mate hoe men nadenkt over "consequenties van politieke handelingen" noch van "een dynamisch democratisch process" noch "hoe de politiek de maatschappij als complexe cohesie" aanziet, maar eerder opbreekt in "blokken en fronten".

En deze blokken probeert te vormen door mensen via bepaalde voorgehouden concepten rond zich te groeperen door associatie of disassociatie ("tegen de domme/slechte/incompetenten/extremisten/...."). En het "verkozen worden" aanschouwen als een "carte blanche mandaat" zonder enige verantwoording of KPIs. Zonder inzeg van diegenen die hen verkozen hebben; het is dus een "stem van vertrouwen" waar we vaak machteloos toekijken op "een misbruik van vertrouwen".

Verrevan democratisch, dus. Meteen ook waar in ons land de politiek keer op keer de bal misslaat. En er niets opgelost geraakt: men wringt tegen elkaar ipv als een team de verantwoordelijkheid op te nemen, de kiezer te vertegenwoordigen en België (of Vlaanderen) als een project te aanzien waar men per mandaat aan werkt. Waar de burger zich achter projecten stelt en een mandaat verleent (via stem en bijdrage aan het budget).

We leven in een technologische wereld waar het effectief mogelijk is om de burger te vragen welke projecten er belang hebben en welke niet. Men zou zo iets kunnen bouwen ipv te investeren in "het vormen van opinie" en dit circus levend te houden.

I don't see how "demanding" something has any value.
Also, "Israel is an associated state of the European Union." - all of Europe has been under some rule and force from the EU - with "heavy fines and consequences" above their heads. What is the value then of "sharing a concensus" ? Why aren't there sanctions as to other nations ? Comes across as very weak and idiotic.
