@MarioNawfal What the goalkeeper and his entire team deserve is a spit in their faces. What a disgusting set of beings. May we never see such at a WC competition again. A complete disgrace with the referee.
@Rdj18781@talkSPORT Beat Cape Verde 7-0!? That’s one of the best teams out of Africa. It shows total lack of depth from that Agbonlahor guy. He’s not alone. A good number of British pundits are co-travelers. I would not predict a 0-0 but I was expecting a tight margin. Shocked? No!
This same commitment should be obtained from Arteta if he has to continue as Arsenal’s manager. His approach to the games in the last half of last season was a success despite him. We deserve better. Those boys can do better and even beat that overhyped PSG and their referee with what he got.
"I prioritise to be more aggressive, to attack faster" 🔥
Andoni Iraola is in advanced talks to become Liverpool's next head coach 🔴
He sat down with @GuillemBalague in March 2025 to explain his style of play 🗣️

🚨 Since his penalty miss in the #UCL final, Arsenal supporters have made Gabriel the top-selling shirt name at the club.
His printed name is up 350% since Saturday’s final. At one stage he was outselling any other name x2.

I thought I was the only one who witnessed the disgraceful interruptions and foul calls for PSG even when there was none! The ref’ bias was blatant. In a match of that magnitude? The ref has a heart that can commit murder. That officiating was a script.
I clocked something. Majority of the ex players that have won major trophies actually have a fair and unbiased perspective of us and put their rivalry with us aside.
The ex players who’ve never even seen major trophies are the ones hating on us. Will always respect SG and WR.
To see Spurs and Chelsea fans mocking Arsenal after the seasons they had is beyond parody. We’re the best team in England, and the second best team in Europe. You lot are global laughing stocks.
So pipe down, you wastrels. 🤣
🎙 Marquinhos explains what prompted him to head straight to Gabriel following the missed penalty..
🗣 “As soon as he missed, I remembered how it felt when I missed against Croatia” he said. “It is a very difficult moment, a big responsibility.”
“You need to be strong to come through moments like that. I have lived it myself, so I know how hard it is” he said.
“I just wanted to hug him and tell him I understand. I have been through it too” he explained.
“He has had an incredible season and shown he is one of the best defenders in the world. He did not deserve all that pressure in that moment” ❤️
You’ll see random pictures of Arshavin supporting Arsenal every year since he left. Dude never gave any interviews, just kept supporting the club like a proper fan. Top guy.
Steven Gerrard: “I look across the Arsenal squad, I don’t see much ego. I see a young hungry manager. You can’t let this setback take anything away from becoming Premier League champions. They deserve a lot of plaudits.” ❤️👏
Emmanuel Petit on Premier League clubs mocking Arsenal after the final defeat:
🗣️ “I have to say, I found it embarrassing.
The second Arsenal lost, some Premier League clubs couldn't wait to jump on social media and remind everyone about their European trophies.
That tells you everything.
Instead of supporting an English club representing the league on the biggest stage in club football, they were busy celebrating Arsenal's pain.
For me, that's not rivalry. That's insecurity.
Arsenal were 90 minutes away from doing something special, and rather than show respect, people were desperately searching through the history books for old trophies to post online.
Why? Because they were terrified of seeing Arsenal join that club.
Let's be honest, some of these clubs spent the entire season watching Arsenal compete at a level they couldn't reach.
The jealousy was obvious.
The moment Arsenal fell short, they treated it like they had won something themselves.
That's the mentality of people who would rather see Arsenal fail than focus on their own success.
The trophy may have slipped away, but the reaction from some rivals showed exactly how much Arsenal still live rent-free in their heads.”
