My pro tip for parallel parking: find another place to park.

Understanding what God is doing in our lives is like looking at the ocean from the beach—there’s so much more of the ocean that you don’t see than what you do see.

Took my car in for an oil change and they recommended a new air filter, transmission fluid change, new rotors, switching Internet providers, refinancing my mortgage, a new home security system, and upgrading my iPhone. Should I do it?

Never wish someone pain. That’s not Jesus’ way of love. If they caused you pain, they must have pain inside themselves. Wish them healing.

Every evening I tell Susan that I’m heading out to jog five miles—but then I don’t go. It’s a running joke.

Those of us who wish to be disciples of Jesus should be known for what he was known for—embracing those that others refused to touch.

I'm pretty sure Jesus is okay with me listening to Christmas music before Thanksgiving.

Not frequently,
Not regularly,
But daily.

I'm running out of passwords. I'm going to have to get more pets.

Being an adult is hard... but it also means if you want Pop-Tarts for lunch--you get to have Pop-Tarts for lunch.

[Vann Conwell @vannc]

There is just something about Jesus that just doesn't let you stay in a routinely normal life.

[Vann Conwell @vannc]

I’ve pretty much determined the phrase “Don’t take this the wrong way” has a 0% success rate.

[Vann Conwell @vannc]

We may ignore, but we can't evade the presence of God. The world is crowded with him. He walks everywhere incognito.

[Vann Conwell @vannc]

I don’t need any food for thought. My thoughts need to go on a diet.

[Vann Conwell @vannc]
