A great evening at the @cademuseum for the opening of the Fascination of Science exhibit by author and photographer Herlinde Koelbl. I got to take my own picture. Proud to be a nerd.
If you decide to make a large donation as my stepping down gift, I'd consider it an honor. This program is one of the best things we've developed in our department.
Giving Day is THIS THURSDAY! We invite you to Stand Up & Holler for our Peers Mentor Program to have a positive impact on the highest priority and greatest need of our department! ๐๐

My next adventure is back to the faculty (teaching and research) and a part-time admin assignment at the Provost's office (chair of the University Curriculum Committee).
As I formally step down as department chair today, I recognize all the people who have helped make this department what it is today! Thanks for the plaque.
Thank you for everything, @vanoostrom! ๐๐งก
Dr. van Oostrom will be stepping down as our department chair to take on administrative duties at the Office of the Provost. Luckily, he will remain with us and @UFWertheim in various roles! ๐

Time to get rid of daylight savings time. Computer programmers still canโt get it right. Delta says I can check in but when I try it isnโt time yet. Yes it is 24 hrs before my flight.
